Barry Manilow started his own show (He got 2 year contract!) in Las Vegas today. The day before Grand Opening, he threw a special free show exclusively for his hotel/casino employees.

Dad went to the theater and took some pictures for us with his new camera phone. He says this one is Barry singing "Copacabana" and audience waving with their neon sticks. Thanks, Dad. But where is Barry? Your camera phone sucks.

He said show was great and everybody was happy. At the end of the show, Barry got his employee name tag and was given the permission to dine at the employee's cafeteria. Anyway, we all hope this show would be successful and helps bringing in a lot more business to the casino.

According to dad, all the table game layout in his casino was changed to Manilow version. Barry's picture on the betting circle and piano keys printed all the way around the edge. Dice tables, too! Very pretty and feels festive.

(Later, on Thursday morning 2/24/05 around 4:30am., Dad saw Barry walking through the casino and went back to the theater. He was performing in a major network's morning show for some east coast viewers... We admire all you hard working people!!)
